AI replaces doctors in diagnosis and prescriptions as Nolla Health tests AI medicine in U.S.
A pilot service in Utah has begun using AI to assess acne patients and issue new prescriptions. Healthcare startup Nolla Health launched its AI-based acne treatment service, Nolla Derm, for adults in the state. Users complete a questionnaire and submit facial photos, and the AI selects topical treatments from preset protocols and writes prescriptions. The service operates under a state regulatory pilot with phased doctor review.
