NCSoft seeks asset seizure and damages over Lineage private servers
NCSoft said on Monday it is taking legal action against operators of illegal private servers for its Lineage game, accusing them of copyright infringement and causing user harm. The company said the Seoul Central District Court approved its request for a provisional seizure of bank accounts linked to four private servers: Love, Skull, Lightning and Aura. NCSoft said it is also pursuing a damages lawsuit against the operators.

GRAC opens loot box damage relief centre, launches one-stop support system
South Korea\'s Game Rating and Administration Committee opened a centre dedicated to damage relief linked to probabilistic in-game items. The committee held an opening ceremony at the Busan Cinema Center with about 50 attendees from the culture ministry, the city of Busan and related bodies. It assigned about 20 dedicated staff and will strengthen capabilities through training. It also reorganised to create a one-stop user protection headquarters with counselling, investigation and support teams.
