Apple classifies iPhone X, 2018 MacBook Pro as obsolete, ends official service
Apple has classified the iPhone X and the 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro as obsolete products. The change removes them from Apple’s official hardware repair coverage and prevents service providers from ordering parts. Apple updated its support document on servicing products after warranty expiration and moved the devices from vintage to obsolete status. Software support is also limited, with iPhone X capped at iOS 16.7.16 and the MacBook Pro supported only through macOS Sequoia 15.7.7.
