Mastercard completes South Korea\'s first AI agent live transaction, expands agentic commerce
Mastercard said on Tuesday that a CardInfoLink AI agent connected to the global mobility platform hoppa completed an end-to-end transport booking and payment in South Korea. The agent searched and reserved transport from Incheon International Airport to a hotel in Seoul\'s Gwanghwamun and completed payment using Mastercard Agent Pay. The company said it was the first AI agent-based live transaction conducted domestically and plans to broaden AI commerce partnerships and applications.
