U.S. government moves seized cryptocurrency worth about $565.9 million to Coinbase Prime

The U.S. government moved about $565.87 million worth of seized cryptocurrency to Coinbase Prime within hours, blockchain outlet U.Today reported. The transfer included bitcoin and tether. Some of the assets were classified as seized holdings linked to the Bitfinex hack case and to FTX and Alameda Research. Onchain Lens tracked a latest transfer of 94.15 million USDT and said authorities have not disclosed the purpose of the transactions.

Charles Hoskinson renews call for Gemini to list ADA

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson renewed his call for cryptocurrency exchange Gemini to list ADA. U.Today reported that he left a brief comment, \'List ADA\', on an X post by Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss marking the exchange\'s 11th anniversary. Gemini supports several major proof-of-stake tokens, but not ADA. Hoskinson has repeatedly criticised the absence of ADA and has claimed Gemini missed revenue opportunities by not offering it.

Winklevoss twins seek Nasdaq listing for Zcash spot ETF \'WINK\'

The Winklevoss twins filed an S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to launch a spot exchange-traded fund that would directly hold Zcash token ZEC, seeking a Nasdaq listing under the ticker WINK. The proposed Winklevoss Zcash ETF would let investors gain exposure through a regular brokerage account and would charge a 0.25 percent sponsor fee. Gemini would custody ZEC in cold wallets, and Winklevoss Capital Fund signaled interest in buying up to $100 million in the offering.
