Shinhan Financial succeeds in hybrid capital bond bookbuilding amid rising market volatility
Shinhan Financial Group said its bookbuilding for hybrid capital securities, held on March 6, attracted orders worth 529 billion won, nearly twice the notified amount. The issue, a contingent capital bond with a five-year call option, was increased to 400 billion won from 270 billion won, with the yield set at 4.20 percent. The result is seen as a sign that domestic capital-raising functions remain stable amid uncertainty.
