LG CNS steps up push into North America with mobile shuttle logistics robot
LG CNS said on Tuesday it unveiled its mobile shuttle logistics automation robot at Modex 2026, which opened in Atlanta. The company said the robot is designed to operate reliably in temperatures as low as minus 26 degrees Celsius, allowing use in cold-chain logistics such as food and distribution. It said multiple shuttle robots can move within warehouse shelving and carry up to 1,500 kg each, with AI agent features supporting natural-language control and response guidance.

CJ Freshway to buy 27.5% stake in Marketboro to speed online shift
CJ Freshway agreed to acquire a 27.5% stake in Marketboro for a total of 40.3 billion won, becoming the company’s largest shareholder. The company said it signed a share purchase agreement and disclosed the deal on Feb. 5. Marketboro operates the Sikbom open-market platform and Marketbom ordering and distribution management services. CJ Freshway plans to supply products listed on Sikbom through its nationwide cold-chain network.

Cafe24 Daily Delivery adds Ourbox to strengthen fresh food logistics
Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 said on Jan. 29 it has added fulfillment specialist Ourbox as a partner for its Daily Delivery service. It said the cooperation will strengthen fresh food logistics infrastructure for direct-to-consumer brands. Ourbox operates its own order and warehouse management systems and ships 25,000,000 boxes a year, with a 0.07 percent claim rate. The service now supports logistics across all temperature ranges, including chilled and frozen.
