XRP faces $2 billion selling pressure as upside bets also cool

XRP has recently faced nearly $2 billion in net selling pressure in spot and perpetual futures markets, with cumulative volume delta sliding from late September to mid-October. Spot and leveraged products both showed heavier selling. Binance and other centralised exchanges recorded deeper negative CVD readings. Derivatives positioning also shrank as open interest fell on Binance and Bybit. Liquidation data showed repeated long liquidations above $10 million, while short liquidation clusters above the current price were larger than long clusters below.

XRP spot trading volume falls $1.9 billion in two months; futures hit six-month high

XRP spot market participation has shrunk quickly, with the seven-day average spot trading volume on centralised exchanges falling from $2.597 billion to $653.8 million between Aug. 26 and Oct. 11, a drop of $1.943 billion, The Crypto Basic reported. The decline was broad-based, including Binance. In contrast, combined XRP futures volume on Binance, Bybit and OKX hit $56.18 billion in September, the highest in six months.

Jito\'s JTX to launch mobile app soon, expand to perpetual futures

JTX, a Solana-based trading app operated by Jito, plans to launch a mobile app and add perpetual futures trading this winter, The Block reported. Brian Smith (브라이언 스미스), head of the Jito Foundation, said JTX will also add stock features within 2 weeks. JTX launched in July as a self-custody trading app. It supports spot trading in cbBTC, SOL, HYPE and meme coins, as well as tokenised stocks and ETFs, and charges fees per trade.
