Deeping Source to commercialise autonomous store operations system
AI retail tech firm Deeping Source said on Monday it will move to full commercial rollout of an autonomous store operations system in 2026. The company said the system goes beyond data analysis by letting AI propose execution plans and link them to automatic implementation, aiming to minimise operators’ everyday decision-making burden. It said offline store operations still rely heavily on managers’ experience and intuition, making optimal decisions difficult even for skilled operators.
