YouTube Premium to include Peacock from 2027
YouTube Premium subscribers will be able to watch NBCUniversal streaming service Peacock content in the YouTube app from 2027 at no extra cost. The Verge reported that a multi-year deal will bring Peacock\'s ad-supported dramas, films and live sports to YouTube Premium. YouTube plans to bundle Peacock with its $15.99-a-month base Premium plan. Comcast said Peacock has 48 million U.S. subscribers and turned a profit last quarter.

YouTube TV introduces customizable multiview for up to four channels at once
YouTube TV has introduced a customizable multiview feature that lets users choose multiple live channels and place them on one screen. The multiview window can pin up to four streams. Previously, multiview was offered mainly through preset combinations, first for sports such as the 2023 March Madness tournament and later for news, business and weather. The feature will be available to YouTube TV subscribers and to users of more than 10 genre-based packages.

YouTube\'s 2025 ad revenue tops combined Disney, Paramount, Warner Bros
YouTube recorded $40.4 billion in advertising revenue in 2025, surpassing the combined $37.8 billion earned by major Hollywood studios including Disney, NBCUniversal, Paramount and Warner Bros Discovery, TechCrunch reported. In 2024, YouTube’s ad revenue of $36.1 billion trailed the studios’ $41.8 billion, but the situation reversed last year. Alphabet said YouTube’s total revenue reached $60 billion, with non-ad revenue coming from subscription services.
