Hana Securities launches third special sale for 3.6 percent pre-tax annual promissory note

Hana Securities introduced a special sale of a promissory note product offering fixed interest rates for new and inactive customers. The company said on May 26 it launched the third special sale of its “Hana THE Promissory Note,” offering a pre-tax annual yield of 3.6 percent. The product is available in 180-day and 365-day maturities. Subscription amounts range from 1 million won to 5 billion won.

Hana Securities wins licence for general currency exchange business

Hana Securities said on Monday it has obtained approval from the Ministry of Finance and Economy to conduct general currency exchange business. The ministry previously revised foreign exchange transaction rules to allow securities firms meeting certain requirements to offer general exchange for purposes other than investment. Hana Securities said it secured the licence after building internal control systems and IT facilities in line with relevant regulations.
