Sandisk recasts and unifies SSD branding under Optimus
Sandisk said on Jan. 6 it will reorganise its internal SSD lineup under the SANDISK Optimus brand. The existing WD_BLACK and WD Blue NVMe SSD ranges will be integrated into the new brand structure. The internal storage portfolio will include three lines: Sandisk Optimus for content creators, Sandisk Optimus GX for gamers and Sandisk Optimus GX PRO as the top-end line. Products with the new brand design are expected in the first half of 2026 through some global distribution channels.
