KakaoTalk adds reply feature to open chat
Kakao introduced a reply function in KakaoTalk open chatrooms through its 26.1.0 update, aiming to reduce confusion in busy rooms where multiple conversations mix. Users can continue a thread by replying to a specific message. The feature was first applied to Open Chat Community and will be rolled out sequentially to regular open chatrooms. The update also adds AI-powered functions using Kanana, including sharing VoiceTalk call summaries, improved file browsing and short video creation from images.
