VeryAI raises $10 million seed funding for palm-based identity verification
VeryAI, which builds a palm-based identity verification platform, has raised $10 million in seed funding. Axios reported that Polychain Capital led the investment. The company said AI-generated spoofing has become cheaper and more sophisticated, leaving finance apps and exchanges facing bot accounts and the burden of multi-factor authentication. VeryAI scans users’ palms with a smartphone camera, analyzes lines and wrinkles, and asks for random hand motions to confirm presence.
