Russia releases list of approved crypto custodians, Sberbank joins
Russia has officially registered exchange operators and digital asset custodians for the first time since new cryptocurrency regulations took effect. The Bank of Russia released a list of approved crypto businesses under a framework effective from Sept. 1. The list includes four exchange operators and five custodians, including Sberbank, Atomize, Voltari and Cloud Infrastructure. VTB Bank appears on both lists. Sberbank plans to launch its first crypto product on Dec. 1.
