LG Energy Solution, Honda to build Hanoi electric two-wheeler battery swapping stations
LG Energy Solution will work with Honda and the city of Hanoi to build battery swapping infrastructure for electric two-wheelers. The three parties signed an MOU on May 19 local time covering station deployment in central Hanoi, battery standardisation and a safety management system, and joint development of an electric two-wheeler platform business model. From the third quarter, they plan about 50 stations and a pilot using 500 electric two-wheelers.
