Snowflake upgrades AI agent platform, expands integrations with Gmail, Jira and Salesforce
Data cloud company Snowflake updated Snowflake Intelligence and Cortex Code. Snowflake Intelligence is a context-aware AI agent for business users that lets them ask questions about enterprise data and gain insights. The update integrates MCP to support connections with Google Gmail, Calendar and Docs, Atlassian Jira, Salesforce CRM and Slack. It also adds deep research reports with sources, artifacts for saving and sharing workflows, and an iPhone app preview.

OpenAI updates agent SDK, adding sandbox and harness features
OpenAI has updated its agent software development kit that supports companies developing AI agents, TechCrunch reported on Tuesday. The update adds a sandbox feature that isolates agents so they operate only within a controlled computer environment. It is designed to protect overall system integrity while allowing access only to specified files and code. OpenAI also added an in-distribution harness feature and said the new functions are available first in Python, with TypeScript support to follow.

Anthropic accidentally leaks Claude Code source code, revealing core technology
Anthropic accidentally released parts of the internal source code for its agent AI coding tool Claude Code during a distribution process, the company said. It said no customer data or authentication information was exposed and described the incident as a packaging error, not a security breach. VentureBeat reported the leak began when version 2.1.88 was pushed to npm, prompting developers to copy and analyse the code, including details on memory architecture, a KAIROS feature and parts of a model roadmap.
