Toyota unveils \'Fluorite\' game engine for vehicles
Toyota has unveiled its own game engine, Fluorite, to improve digital interfaces inside vehicles, the Verge reported on Feb. 9. Toyota Connected North America senior engineer Jamie Kuber presented the engine at the FOSDEM 2026 conference. Fluorite was developed to provide in-car 3D tutorials, environment mapping and natural interfaces. Toyota said the console-class engine integrates with the Flutter SDK and performs strongly on low-spec and embedded hardware. The engine is in an early development stage.
