MSIT awards ICT internship achievements to boost youth employment links
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT on Aug. 27 visited an outstanding company in its ICT credit-linked project internship programme and held an awards ceremony at Seoul\'s COEX. The programme supports undergraduates taking internships at domestic and overseas AI and IT firms and receiving academic credit. A total of 3,053 people participated through last year. Graduates\' average employment rate in 2022-2025 was 89.3 percent.

KT joins Thailand tech conference with 12 SME venture partners
KT is taking part in Techsauce Global Summit 2026 in Bangkok with 12 partner small and medium-sized venture companies to support their entry into Southeast Asian markets. The conference runs through Aug. 28 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. KT will arrange tailored meetups with exhibitors, provide consulting for local market entry and hold one-on-one sessions with global venture capital firms.

KT launches limited-edition home camera featuring Pinkfong Baby Shark
KT is launching a limited-edition home camera product featuring Pinkfong Baby Shark through a collaboration with The Pinkfong Company. The device applies a Baby Shark design skin to an existing home camera and is bundled with KT\'s internet-based home care service, KT Homecam Ansim. It supports real-time monitoring via the Hejhome app, motion detection and auto-tracking, two-way voice calls and cloud storage for up to seven days. Sales are limited to 3,000 units.
