Bitcoin-like frenzy erupts as global money pours into AI memory ETF
Roundhill Investment’s memory semiconductor ETF, ticker DRAM, has drawn a large amount of investment in the shortest time on record, as demand for AI semiconductors surges. CNBC, citing TMX VettaFi, reported the ETF exceeded $9.8 billion in assets 43 days after launch. Market participants point to scarcity among high-bandwidth memory and specialised DRAM chip makers and to supply concentration. Roundhill said the memory shortage could last until at least 2028.

South Korea stock market cap overtakes Taiwan, rises to world No. 8
South Korea’s total stock market capitalisation has overtaken Taiwan after recently surpassing Germany, rising to eighth in the world, Korea Exchange data showed. Total market value for KOSPI, KOSDAQ and KONEX stood at 4,799.4 trillion won at Friday’s close, slightly above Taiwan’s 4,798.7 trillion won equivalent. The market has continued to rally this year, with KOSPI and KOSDAQ up 20.8 percent and 16.8 percent from end-2025, while brokers raise KOSPI targets.

99 percent of financial advisers plan to maintain or increase crypto investments in 2026
Cryptocurrencies are gaining a firmer foothold among financial advisers, a joint survey by Bitwise and BetaFi showed. Of advisers who invested in crypto in 2025, 99 percent plan to maintain or increase investments in 2026. About 32 percent said they invested in crypto for clients in 2025, up 10 percentage points from a year earlier. Crypto weights in portfolios rose, more advisers held crypto personally, and the share able to buy crypto directly in client accounts increased.
