MSIT to provide 132.9 billion won to commercialise public research and boost industry-academia collaboration
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Friday it will announce new projects under a programme to support commercialisation and start-ups using public research outcomes and a programme to revitalise industry-academia-research cooperation. The ministry\'s regional and commercialisation R&D budget rises 88.7 percent from a year earlier to 487.93 billion won. Funding for the two programmes totals 132.9 billion won, including 93.052 billion won for commercialisation and start-ups and 56.925 billion won for cooperation.
