Mirae Asset Management marks 20 years of ETFs, targets global investment platform
Mirae Asset Management marked the 20th anniversary of its exchange-traded funds, saying it will expand investment solutions focused on innovation themes such as semiconductors, leading U.S. indexes and artificial intelligence. The firm first listed TIGER Semiconductor ETF and TIGER Bank ETF on the Korea Exchange in June 2006. It said TIGER Semiconductor TOP10 ETF had net assets of about 12 trillion won as of June 24, the largest among domestic semiconductor ETFs.

KakaoPay Securities\' RIA accounts top 50,000 as profit-taking funds shift to South Korean semiconductors
KakaoPay Securities said its returning-to-Korean-stocks account, known as RIA, surpassed 50,000 openings as of May 6, about 45 days after launch. The company said funds from profit-taking in overseas AI and semiconductor stocks such as Nvidia and Tesla moved into South Korean bellwethers including Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. It said AI and semiconductor themes accounted for the largest share of top holdings in both overseas and domestic stock portfolios.

Mirae Asset Management AUM tops 600 trillion won; growth accelerates with ETFs, pensions and AI
Mirae Asset Management said its total assets under management reached 624 trillion won as of end-April, surpassing 600 trillion won. It attributed growth to its global ETF business, the expansion of domestic TIGER ETFs, and broader businesses including pensions, OCIO and real estate. Its Global X unit runs 747 ETFs across 13 markets. The firm is also expanding tokenised ETF offerings and reported strong growth in a semiconductor-themed TIGER ETF.
