Hwang Sung-yup discusses cooperation ahead of launch of Japan asset management association
The Korea Financial Investment Association said its chairman, Hwang Sung-yup, met Yoshio Hishida of Japan\'s Mitsui Sumitomo Trust (SuMi Trust) Group in Seoul to discuss ways to expand exchanges and cooperation between the two countries\' financial investment industries. Hishida, designated as the inaugural head of a planned Japan Investment Management Association, explained the purpose and vision of the group, which is set to launch in April, and proposed strengthening cooperation including an MOU.
