Aviva Investors tokenises institutional fund on XRPL
UK asset manager Aviva Investors launched a tokenised share class of its Sterling Liquidity Fund on Ripple’s XRP Ledger (XRPL), linking on-chain access to a fund that invests in short-term UK gilts. Blockchain media U.Today said 50 million pounds was put on-chain, while Aviva’s European digital assets total slightly above 86 million pounds including a dollar pilot in July. The share class is limited to professional investors who pass strict checks.
