Bitcoin reclaims $62,000 as major cryptocurrencies rebound

Bitcoin rose back above $62,000, lifting major cryptocurrencies after a recent slide. Decrypt reported that total crypto liquidations over 24 hours jumped to $602 million, including $400 million in short-position liquidations. Ether and solana gained about 5 percent, while XRP rose more than 3 percent. Coinglass data showed ether liquidations at $187 million, slightly above bitcoin. Markets also reacted to Federal Reserve comments and weaker-than-expected U.S. June jobs data.
