Bitcoin spot ETFs post $6.34 billion net inflows in third quarter, biggest this year

Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds recorded net inflows of $6.34 billion in the third quarter, the largest quarterly total this year, Cointelegraph reported. Bitcoin rose 42.71 percent over the same period, its strongest third-quarter return since 2017. The funds had seen about $5.0 billion of net outflows in the second quarter. Ethereum spot ETFs posted $3.05 billion of net inflows, while XRP, Solana and Zcash spot ETFs also drew fresh money.

U.S. crypto industry shifts strategy after Clarity Act fails, targets Senate elections

The U.S. cryptocurrency industry is shifting its focus from persuading lawmakers to intervening in elections after Senate legislation stalled. Coinbase-founded advocacy group Stand With Crypto released its first list of endorsed Senate candidates, backing Republicans in Ohio and Iowa and Democrats in New Hampshire. It said endorsements are based on candidates’ crypto policies, not party. Fairshake PAC launched a $30 million campaign targeting Sherrod Brown as overall crypto political spending nears $200 million.

AllUnity launches dollar-pegged USDAU stablecoin

European stablecoin issuer AllUnity has launched USDAU, a stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar. The launch expands its lineup of fiat-backed stablecoins regulated under the EU\'s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) rules to four. USDAU is designed to maintain a 1-to-1 value with the dollar and will initially support networks including Ethereum and Solana. Its CEO said Europe’s concern is oversight and enforceable redemption rights, not the dollar itself.
