U.S. Army eyes Ukraine in search for drone alternatives to DJI
With China’s DJI dominating the small-drone market, the U.S. Army is looking for new alternatives. Two Ukrainian drone companies, Skyfall and Ukraine Defense Drone Tech, made the final list in a drone programme. Skyfall’s Shryke 10 Fiber is a fibre-optic FPV drone developed with Britain’s Skycutter that can avoid electronic warfare jamming. Ukraine Defense Drone Tech’s F10 Strike quadcopter was noted for excluding Chinese components.
