Shinhan Bank ties up with Government Officials Pension Service to expand AI, digital finance training for retired civil servants
Shinhan Bank will expand AI and digital finance education and financial fraud prevention training for retired civil servants through cooperation with the Government Officials Pension Service. The bank said it signed a business agreement in Seoul on July 16 to strengthen AI and digital financial capabilities and protect financial consumers. The two organisations will jointly run tailored programmes on fraud prevention, AI use, digital finance and asset management, and pursue joint campaigns.

Shinhan Bank launches third cohort of university digital finance education assistants
Shinhan Bank is working with university students to improve older people’s access to digital financial services. The bank said it held a launch ceremony on Monday for the third cohort of its Digital Financial Education Assistants at its Shinhan Hakijae Incheon education centre. Fourteen Incheon National University students were selected. They will provide training on unmanned branches and mobile finance apps, fraud prevention, community AI and digital education, and produce tailored AI and digital finance content for seniors.

Shinhan Bank opens \'Shinhan Hakijae Gwangju\' to boost local financial education
Shinhan Bank on March 30 held an opening ceremony for \'Shinhan Hakijae Gwangju\', an AI and digital education centre focused on finance, at its Gwangju Financial Center in Buk-gu, Gwangju. The event was attended by leaders from Shinhan Financial Group, the Financial Supervisory Service and the Ministry of Science and ICT, along with local officials. The centre will provide tailored education to digitally underserved groups and expand voice phishing prevention training.
