Kakao Mobility upgrades end-to-end autonomous driving model, steps up Gangnam edge-case collection
Kakao Mobility will expand its autonomous driving operations in Seoul’s Gangnam district by increasing its Seoul Autonomous Car service fleet to 6 vehicles from 2 starting Aug. 20. It will also extend routes to protected zones for vulnerable road users. The company aims to collect more data on unexpected situations and feed it into AI training. Kakao Mobility said it has verified end-to-end autonomous driving technology and improved perception and processing speed.
