Science vice minister Gu Hyuk-chae attends 2026 science elders\' New Year gathering
Gu Hyuk-chae (구혁채), first vice minister at South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT, attended the 2026 New Year gathering of the Science Elders Association on Thursday at the Korea Science and Technology Center. He exchanged views with senior figures in the science and technology community on national development. About 90 attendees included former ministers and vice ministers from science and technology-related ministries. The event also featured an award ceremony, greetings, a cake-cutting, dinner and well-wishes.
