Semifive, Sapien Semiconductor to develop CMOS backplane technology
Semifive has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Sapien Semiconductor to cooperate on strengthening microdisplay technology and developing CMOS backplane technology. The two companies will jointly advance design and technical reviews of CMOS backplanes, a core microdisplay component, and cooperate on validation and simulations. They also plan technical consulting and joint measures to address global markets, combining their capabilities to meet demand and accelerate commercialization.
