Solayer launches mainnet for onchain perpetual futures platform Margin Trade
Solayer, a high-performance layer-1 blockchain based on the Solana Virtual Machine, has launched the mainnet for its onchain perpetual futures trading platform, Margin Trade. The platform lets users trade cryptocurrencies, commodities and stocks through a single margin account, supporting major crypto perpetuals, commodities such as gold, silver and crude oil, and a synthetic index called MT500. It also offers Pearl Research perpetual futures with up to 3 times leverage.

Doppler token launch platform expands to Solana, redesigned from scratch
Doppler, a token launch platform on Ethereum-based Layer 2 Base, is expanding to Solana, The Block reported on Wednesday. The move comes as EVM-based projects continue to look to expand into the SVM ecosystem. Doppler said its Solana version is native and rebuilt from scratch to reflect Solana’s architecture, constraints, programming model and economic structure. The Block data show Solana leads new token activity, with Base ranked second.

SVM-based blockchain Solayer to launch $35 million ecosystem fund
Layer 1 blockchain Solayer plans to launch a $35 million ecosystem fund, The Block reported on Jan. 20. The fund aims to support ultra-fast blockchain scaling using the InfiniSVM engine based on the Solana Virtual Machine, the report said. Solayer said it processed 330,000 transactions per second on its alpha mainnet and achieved 400-millisecond finality. It plans to prioritise projects with clear revenue models.
