Naver and SNU Hospital unveil medical LLM, call it medical sovereign AI case
Naver and Seoul National University Hospital introduced Kmed.ai, a Korean-language medical large language model trained on clinical data, domestic medical law and departmental guidelines. They said the model reflects feedback from hospital staff and scored 96.4 points on the 2025 medical licensing exam. Naver also developed an agent platform to support hospital tasks. Executives said the technology can raise efficiency and safety and marks an early step toward medical sovereign AI.
