KAIST to build AI, robot-based autonomous lab with Thermo Fisher Scientific
Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) plans to build an AI- and robot-driven autonomous laboratory with Thermo Fisher Scientific. The partners will jointly create the SHARE Hub, which connects human intuition, AI reasoning, robotic experiments and experimental data. Under the system, researchers pose scientific questions, AI designs experiments, robots run them and AI analyses results to guide subsequent tests. They also plan joint development and a challenge programme.
