CrowdStrike to buy browser security firm Cerapic for $400 million
CrowdStrike plans to acquire browser security startup Cerapic Security for about $400 million as part of efforts to boost its ability to defend against web-based cyberattacks, SiliconANGLE reported. Cerapic has technology that blocks malicious requests and defends against RAM-based attacks through memory randomization. CrowdStrike to buy ID security firm SGNL for $740 million
Cloud-based security company CrowdStrike will acquire identity management startup SGNL for $740 million, CNBC reported on Wednesday. CrowdStrike said the deal will allow users of its Falcon cloud security platform to manage access requests from people and AI more effectively. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of fiscal 2027. CEO George Kurtz said the deal offers a chance to innovate in the identity market while providing strong protection.
