Korea Post offers special sale of daily-interest parking account with rates up to 2.0 percent
The Ministry of Science and ICT\'s Korea Post said on Saturday it will offer a special sale of a parking account product limited to 50,000 accounts, with interest rates of up to 2.0 percent a year. The product, sold from Aug. 10, allows free deposits and withdrawals and pays 1.6 percent on daily balances up to 10 million won, plus up to 0.4 percentage points in preferential rates depending on conditions. Korea Post will also run a sign-up event and offer an extra preferential rate for donations.

Robot vacuums still struggle to go mainstream as consumers doubt reliability
The biggest challenge for robot vacuums is not the technology itself but consumer perceptions and trust in real-world reliability, an assessment found. Executives from major brands said many buyers still associate the devices with dirty-water mopping, weak carpet cleaning, random movement and frequent getting stuck, reflecting early-generation products. They also said consumers expect stable, hands-free operation in complex home environments, while varied flooring and clutter remain difficult conditions.

11st expands \'Monthly 11th\' promotion period to 11 days
South Korean e-commerce platform 11st is expanding the duration of its in-house \'Monthly 11th\' promotion from 3 days to 11 days. It said the March event will run from March 1 to 11, issuing daily discount coupons and running time deals and live broadcasts. The company will highlight digital and home living products for back-to-school and moving-season demand, with brands including Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics taking part.
