With CES 2026 just around the corner, where are the innovation products that drew attention at CES 2025 last year now?

CES is a venue for innovation, but also a stage for many products that vanish as “vaporware.” Engadget tracked on Jan. 2 (local time) whether award winners from CES 2025 actually made it to market or are still in development.

The Asus Zenbook A14 raised expectations at CES 2025, but later drew criticism for disappointing performance and a high price. BioLite’s Backup Power Supply is still not out, but is scheduled to ship in 2026. Jackery unveiled curved solar panels, but is still preparing sales and signaled additional announcements at CES 2026. Lenovo’s Legion Go S SteamOS version has launched and received positive reviews.

LG showcased an OLED TV at CES 2025 and drew attention with a 165 Hz refresh rate and a wireless transmission system. Moonbird, a screen-free children’s meditation device, made the list of CES award winners and is now on sale. Ohsnap’s MCON, a controller that turns a smartphone into a gaming device, has not launched yet but is scheduled to ship in 2026. The Roborock Saros Z70 robot vacuum has been released, but was excluded from recommendation lists due to its high price.

One of the most impressive products was Yukai Engineering’s Mirumi robot. The robot, which entertains users with simple movements, is now raising funds on Kickstarter and has easily surpassed its target. Technics’ EAH-AZ100 earbuds won praise for sound quality and launched after CES. The Urtopia Titanium Zero electric bicycle is still not on the market, but is set to reappear at CES 2026.

WeWALK Smart Cane 2, named the best product of CES 2025, is an innovative cane with AI-based navigation and obstacle detection, but it is not yet on sale. CES is a venue for innovation, but not every product becomes reality. At CES 2026 this year, it remains to be seen which products will materialise and which will vanish again.
