LG Uplus to expand U+one AI agent beyond search to execution
LG Uplus said on Tuesday it will upgrade AI search on its integrated customer platform, U+one, into an actionable AI agent that can handle actual tasks. The company has introduced a bill payment agent and a roaming agent that recommend products and support sign-ups within chat. It said conversion rates via the roaming agent were about twice those of its previous AI search method. LG Uplus plans a store-guide agent in the fourth quarter and will expand conversational agents across key services next year.
