Kakao Mobility expands \'Road Heroes\' awards to general public
Kakao Mobility Co\'s Kakao Mobility Foundation for Shared Growth is expanding the award scope of its social contribution campaign, \'Road Heroes\', to include the general public. The campaign had previously been limited to mobility workers such as taxi, bus and designated drivers. Anyone can recommend acts of kindness via the official website, with winners receiving prize money and a plaque after screening. A story submission event runs through May 31, alongside collaborations including illustrator Kikeuny and a YouTube channel.

Kakao Mobility expands coding camp eligibility to mobility workers\' families
Kakao Mobility is expanding eligibility for its free coding camp for families of mobility workers, starting with the sixth session. The Junior Lab programme, run with the Children and Future Foundation, previously focused on taxi drivers’ families. The fifth session, held in late January at Kakao AI Campus in Yongin, involved 30 students and included coding lessons, team activities and mentoring. Kakao Mobility said it will broaden recruitment to include families of substitute drivers and quick delivery workers.

Kakao Mobility signs agreement with FKTU platform drivers union branch
Kakao Mobility said on Tuesday it signed a collective agreement with the platform drivers branch of a nationwide union under the Federation of Korean Trade Unions. The agreement aims to improve working conditions for designated driver and quick-service workers and build a cooperative relationship. The sides agreed to operate a grievance-handling system, strengthen safety and health activities and jointly work on industrial accident prevention, while continuing consultations on systems and operations based on field feedback.
