Ripple to work with Saudi Riyad Bank on blockchain payments and asset management
Ripple will work with Riyad Bank in Saudi Arabia to build a blockchain-based financial system, Cointelegraph reported on Jan. 26. Ripple will cooperate with the bank\'s innovation division to explore applying blockchain technology to financial systems. The agreement covers cross-border payments, digital asset custody and asset tokenisation, and is described as supporting the Saudi Vision 2030 strategy. Ripple has also expanded in the UAE and received regulatory approval for its RLUSD stablecoin from Abu Dhabi Global Market.
