Former Ripple CTO rejects XRPL security concerns, focuses on cost-burden structure
Former Ripple Chief Technology Officer David Schwartz (데이비드 슈워츠) rejected concerns about XRPL’s defenses against frontrunning and sandwich attacks, arguing even state-backed actors would struggle to sustain attacks. He said the network could respond by raising costs, concentrating the burden on attackers as fees accumulate. Schwartz also proposed adjustable fee-escalation parameters via XRPL’s voting process. His proposal introduces reserved transactions, with limited slots per ledger and higher fees as slots fill.
