Reddit to end RSS support in November, public API to stop in March 2027
Reddit will end support for RSS as of Nov. 13 and will operate its public API only until March 2027. Reddit decided to reduce channels for accessing its data to respond to large-scale scraping and abuse of automation. It said RSS had become a common pathway for such activity. The move also aligns with efforts to monetise user-generated content. Reddit urged moderators and operations teams to review settings and shift workflows to a Discord Relaydevit app.
