U.S. SEC adds three crypto items to 2026 regulatory agenda
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has included three rulemakings covering crypto issuance and sales, broker-dealer regulation and crypto market structure in its official 2026 regulatory agenda. Detailed rule texts have not been released, and July is presented as a target timing for proposals rather than a fixed schedule. The plans were confirmed via rule lists posted on Reginfo.gov and are currently classified as being at the proposed-rule stage.
