Hong Ra-hee awarded Camellia Medal of Order of Civil Merit
Samsung Culture Foundation said on Oct. 26 that Hong Ra-hee (홍라희), honorary director of the Leeum Museum of Art, received the Camellia Medal of the Order of Civil Merit. Hong also received the Red Cross Humanitarian Award Gold Medal in 2024. The foundation cited the family’s donation of about 23,000 artworks to the state and the return of 1 trillion won of inheritance through medical donations, along with continued cash contributions.
