Ethereum quantum-resistance direction takes shape as Buterin and Zcash co-founder align
As debate grows over Ethereum’s shift to quantum-resistant cryptography, Vitalik Buterin (비탈릭 부테린) and Zcash co-founder Eli Ben-Sasson (엘리 벤사손) have backed a hash-based approach. The emerging concept is to design the core consensus around hash-based signatures and proof aggregation, while allowing lattice cryptography at the account and wallet layer if its security is proven. The discussion was sparked after a16z crypto questioned reliance on recursive SNARK structures.
