Samsung SDS bets on custom AX built on multi-dimensional AI full stack, expands FDE to about 200
Samsung SDS on Tuesday unveiled its enterprise AI strategy based on a “multi-dimensional AI full stack” at the REAL Summit 2026 in Seoul. CEO Lee Jun-hee (이준희) said AX requires redesigning businesses and work methods from scratch, citing a gap between AI adoption and profits. The company laid out seven AX elements and said it is applying them internally first under a “Client Zero” approach. It also plans to expand forward deployed engineers to about 200 this year and broaden partnerships including with OpenAI and Anthropic, while formally declaring entry into robotics transformation.

Samsung SDS unveils Brity Works Cowork AI agent service
Samsung SDS unveiled Brity Works Cowork, an AI agent service aimed at users of its AI-based collaboration solution Brity Works, and said it will launch in October. The company shared the service’s features and strategy at its REAL Summit 2026 enterprise AX conference in Seoul. Samsung SDS said Cowork goes beyond an assistant by creating plans and executing tasks toward a final work goal, operating securely within governance standards.

Samsung SDS steps up push into physical AI to roll out robot orchestration platform next year
Samsung SDS is accelerating its push into the physical AI market, leveraging expertise built in manufacturing and its manufacturing execution system capabilities. The company unveiled a physical AI strategy focused on robotics transformation at an enterprise conference in Seoul and created new RX teams within its cloud services division. It formed the Team REX robotics partnership with 10 global firms and is pursuing investment and cooperation with Walden Robotics. It plans to launch a robot orchestration platform from 2027.
