Should AI model development really be slowed? AI safety debate enters new phase

Enterprise AX level depends on how well it connects to work systems
Kim Kyung-hoon (김경훈), OpenAI\'s head in South Korea, said simply adopting AI does not change corporate competitiveness and companies must redesign work to use it. Speaking at Samsung SDS\' REAL Summit 2026 in Seoul, he said the gap is widening between firms that use AI well and those that do not. He stressed linking AI to internal data and work systems, building security controls, using agents with human oversight, and measuring results by cost cuts and gains in revenue and productivity.

Samsung SDS bets on custom AX built on multi-dimensional AI full stack, expands FDE to about 200
Samsung SDS on Tuesday unveiled its enterprise AI strategy based on a “multi-dimensional AI full stack” at the REAL Summit 2026 in Seoul. CEO Lee Jun-hee (이준희) said AX requires redesigning businesses and work methods from scratch, citing a gap between AI adoption and profits. The company laid out seven AX elements and said it is applying them internally first under a “Client Zero” approach. It also plans to expand forward deployed engineers to about 200 this year and broaden partnerships including with OpenAI and Anthropic, while formally declaring entry into robotics transformation.
