[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang (황치규)] Samsung SDS unveiled Brity Works Cowork, an AI agent service aimed at users of its AI-based collaboration solution Brity Works, and will launch it in October.

Samsung SDS on Tuesday held the enterprise AX conference REAL Summit 2026 at the COEX convention center in Seoul and shared Cowork’s features and strategy.

According to the company, Cowork goes beyond an assistant that answers one-off questions or searches for simple information. If a user assigns a final work goal, it draws up detailed plans on its own and proactively carries out the necessary tasks.

The company stressed that Cowork understands individual work context and data, connects with corporate work systems to perform actual tasks, and operates safely within standards set by companies, or governance.

In a keynote speech at the event, Samsung SDS demonstrated Cowork searching and analysing data on its own and handling complex processes based on user work instructions. It showed it could draft reports based on company-specific formats and automatically register meeting schedules, gather materials in real time through mobile remote instructions while on outside duties, and automate repetitive tasks based on schedules. The company highlighted that it has evolved from AI that simply finds answers to AI that does work.

A Samsung SDS official said, "Brity Works Cowork is an enterprise AI agent that understands an individual’s work context while also linking corporate data and systems to perform actual work." The official added, "Starting with its October launch, it will boost work productivity and jointly innovate ways of working not only for companies but also for government ministries and public institutions that have recently been actively adopting Brity Works."
