China\'s SpaceSail raises 1.4 trillion won to speed up race to catch up with Starlink
China\'s satellite internet startup SpaceSail has raised about 7 billion yuan, or roughly 1.4 trillion won, to accelerate expansion of its low-Earth orbit satellite network, South China Morning Post reported. The Series B funding values the company at about 50 billion yuan and involved 18 investors. SpaceSail has rapidly increased its satellite count, but remains far behind Starlink. It has also begun overseas expansion, including regulatory approval in Brazil.
