Top Material sets up U.S. unit to expand secondary battery business
Top Material said on Jan. 29 it has established a wholly owned local unit in Silicon Valley. The company plans to expand both systems engineering and cathode material operations through the new unit and aims to overcome order hurdles caused by past U.S. tariff policies. It also won a $10 million systems engineering contract from California-based Electrochemistry Foundry and will supply and operate a full secondary battery production line.
