Polygon unveils private mempool to block frontrunning and sandwich attacks
Polygon has launched a Private Mempool designed to protect transactions from frontrunning and sandwich attacks. Developers can integrate it by changing a single RPC URL. Polygon said transactions bypass the public mempool and are delivered directly to block producers managed by a validator set, preventing arbitrary manipulation of transaction ordering. It added the structure addresses malicious MEV issues common in applications such as Polymarket while maintaining decentralisation.
