Dell Technologies builds new backup infrastructure for IBK Industrial Bank of Korea to strengthen cyber resilience
Dell Technologies said on Monday it helped IBK Industrial Bank of Korea build a new backup infrastructure at its Hanam data centre using Dell solutions. The bank upgraded its existing backup environment and implemented a cyber resilience framework to restore operations during ransomware attacks, other cyber threats and disasters. It adopted Dell PowerProtect Data Domain appliances and Dell PowerProtect Cyber Recovery and Dell NetWorker, applying air-gap and retention lock technologies and adding EMP-protection racks at a data distribution centre.
